Jewelry has always been part of my life.
For me, crafting fine jewelry is more than a career — it's a legacy. I grew up watching my uncle set gemstones and bring rings to their final polish with painstaking care and intricacy. From a young age, I knew I wanted to follow in his footsteps and be part of a craft that only a select few truly master.
After completing my formal studies in San Jose, I spent several years working in a friend's storefront, focusing primarily on repair and restoration. Then I moved to Washington and began creating original pieces in Bellevue. For more than a decade now I've also been one of the artisans at another Washington studio trusted to hand-fabricate some of its most complex and challenging designs.
Dat Custom Jewelry is where all of that comes together. One bench in Bothell, where every piece — new or repaired — passes through the same hands, built on a foundation of tradition, technique, and a genuine love for the craft.
